Find your place at Douglass Ridley School

We're growing a K2–6 school, one grade at a time, where children learn through curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful exploration.

For Fall 2027, we're welcoming students entering Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.

Whether you're just beginning to explore schools or already know you're looking for something different, we'd love to meet your family.

Growing Together, One Grade at a Time

We're building toward a full K2–6 school, adding a grade each year as our students grow. Our founding students aren't just joining a school community—they're helping shape its traditions, culture, and future.

As DRS grows, we'll continue to welcome new students and families into a community built around curiosity, belonging, and the belief that children are capable of extraordinary things.

Meaningful, Project-Based Learning

Academic skills come alive through hands-on investigations that connect children's interests with meaningful learning.

An Inclusive, Collaborative Community

Children learn with and from one another, building relationships and valuing the perspectives and experiences each person brings.

Critical Literacy

Children learn to question, think critically, explore different perspectives, and use their voices to make sense of the world.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia

We see children as capable, curious, and creative. Their questions, ideas, and discoveries help shape the direction of learning.

Children as Agents of Change

Children are not just preparing for the future. They are developing the knowledge, confidence, and agency to shape the world around them today.
